Dan Wood is high school graduate and life long resident of Jackson county. He attended Jackson community college and the E.J. Swigart school of jewelry repair in Cincinnati Ohio. He apprenticed in a full service retail jewelry store that included design, wax modeling and the lost wax casting method. He learned all phases of fine jewelry repair, with a specialty in stone setting. His retail experience includes, hands on design with the customer, and sales. He also has taken part in the advertisement of stores in commercials and radio spots. Dan once was privileged to make a ring for actor Paul Newman. His 30 yrs experience shows in the quality of the repair's and designs you receive from
Petersen Jewelers.

Donald Wood  a life long resident and graduate from Jackson High class of 98’. Began working for at Petersen Jewelers at age 15 polishing jewelry, and anything else that needed to be done. Having worked in other fields. In 2002 Don returned to Petersen Jewelers to begin learning the jewelry repair and sales trade. Don became a proud father in 2002.  In 2003 Don completed an applied program of diamond setting through               Dry Ridge Workshop and earned his certification in 2003. He has been steadily progressing with his gold- smith skills under the ever watchful eye of his skilled father Dan Wood. We look forward to Don having a very successful career here at     Petersen Jewelers.

Roger Petersen opened up his own business, Petersen Jewelers, in 1977 after working at Charles Warren Jewelers in the Sommerset Mall as one of their goldsmiths and sales associates. He is a graduate of Bowman Tech. School in Lancaster, Pa. Roger has been appraising jewelry as well as goldsmithing for over 30 years. His wife, Vonnie, attended Spring Arbor University and since their marriage has been working with him in designing and sales.
